To Open the Big Ten Season.. Spartans take on the Golden Gophers…
First off.. I have to say why would a Semi-Sober Student body have a Rodent for a Mascot.. These critters are shot and eaten.. they are Not fierce, Not scary, Not Masculine….. The Choice of this Mascot Kind of reminds me of the Banana Slugs of UC Santa Cruz.. or the Big Green Pine trees of Stanford.. or the Delta State University Fighting Okra. Goldie Gopher on the Football field side lines was about a worth wile as the Fighting Pickles of North Carolina School of the Arts. Frankly.. Goldie looks more like the Might Mouse Cartoon than a Gopher.. in any case.. Poor Choice... But, must have been from a era gone by…

Yeah Big Blue… I will comment on the Champs Sports Bowl.. I’m excited about the Spartans potential and growth… I'll have a good review and a Year End Summary Later this week...

My Prediction was based upon the Underachievement of the AnnArbor Team all year.. Based upon the Stats.. Based upon their lack of Effort / Heart / Focus in the last 4 years of Bowl Games… Michigan Still Sucks.. To start the Season Michigan was a National Champ contender.. they were “Over Rated” at 7 to 2 odds to win the BCS… Only Behind USC… Over Rated and Cocky enough to loose at Home to App. State and Oregon…. If your Supposed to be #1 or#2 that’s one thing.. If you end up Higher at the end of the year in the Polls than you were supposed to end the year at… that’s another….
Give me a Break.. They either Got Lucky.. or Finally played to their potential.. Either way.. Based upon their underachievement and stats from the year.. they should have Lost the game..
