Indiana vs.  Oklahoma State

The Hoosiers haven’t been to a Bowl Gamer in 14 years… in 1993…..  They had a heck of a summer when their Coach Passed Away form Cancer. Our Condolences to Coach Hoeppner’s family.  The SpartyMSU crew has lost 2 to friends to Brain Cancer tumors:, we are all too aware of the devastation this disease brings to family and friends.

But on to the Game…

Hoosiers RPI is 71.9, Cowboys is 76.56, Vegas Indiana a 5 point Dog… Spartans Spanked them in East Lansing this year.. great Game !

Spartans beat them at home this year 52 – 27…. I thought possibly Indy would have been better than that.. Spartans killed them on the Ground and in the air, plus sacked Kellen  5 times.. But, this isn’t the Spartans.. it’s the Cowboys… Cowboys had a much tougher schedule this year, But not tougher than MSU… In the Hoosiers schedule,  they didn’t play Michigan or Ohio State in the Big Ten this year.... Wooosies…

QB Kellen Lewis passed this year for 2839 yrds., 26 TDs, and 10 ints. He also rushed for 653 yrds and 8 TDs.. Note: Kellen was also the leading rusher this year….  Hardy is a tall lanky receiver who can pull the rock down.. he had 74 receptions for 1075 yrds and 16 TDs…

Oklahoma State on the other hand… Cowboys put up over 485 yrds offense per game… And they did have a rushing attack.. Savage with 1172 yrds., and QB Zac Robinson for 777 yrds… They also put it in the air, Robinson threw for 2522 yrds and 20 TDs, note: Zac threw for 430 yrds alone against Texas….

The key looks to be the defenses… Cowboys gave up 293 yrds per game, while the Whos-Yur-Daddies gave up a little less that 400 yrds per game… Yuck…. Sucks to be them…

But after seeing Indy first hand this year get thumped.. and looking at the Stats.. Cowboys win this one going away…..

Wisconsin Badgers vs Tenn Volunteers


Wisky has an RPI of 79.69, the Vols 82.33.. Vegas has the Tenn favored by 4 points…  Don’t believe it… Badgers are a good squad… I don’t believe this line at all…..

As much as we didn’t like the Game we saw the Badgers play.. when they beat the Spartans in a close game.... They DO have a good team…. Seen it first hand…

SpartyMSU Crew believes the Bowl Game hinges upon the “D”.. … It’s the Tenn So-So Defense … Against a very Stingy Badger Defense…. Badgers are a better “D” than Tenn… PERIOD !    Badgers sacked Opponents 28 times, Vols sacked Opponents 21… Badgers gave up 280 points for the Season, and the Vols 365 points…..

Vols have only 1 back who rushed for greater than 400yrds, Arian Foster at 1185 yrds, Badgers have 4 backs greater than 400 yrds: Hill 1080, Brown 557, Smith 411, and Donovan 476….   To get this type of yardage... you know the “O” Front pulls open holes like an easy open lid on a Tin of Pudding..….  Think it’ll happen in the OutBack Bowl…. Look out Vol “D”….

The Tenn QB,  Erik Ainge is a slightly more talented.. but Tyler Donovan has a better cast of Characters surrounding him… Better team…  Remember Tyler Rushed for 476 yrds himself.. Ainge didn’t do that….Ainge rushed for a new MINUS -34… Whooopsie-Daisy….

Besides all of this.. the End Zone paint in Neyland Stadium is Dumb looking.. We Volunteered that opinion on the Volunteers…  WTF…?... Can’t just see a line on the turf..?.. Need a Orange Checker board…???..  The Drunks in the Stadium can pick out the end zones…?

Not much else to say… We strongly think Vegas is Dead wrong on the line…
