Notes On The Offense
• The Eagles are ranked first in the ACC and seventh in the nation in passing offense (331.8 ypg).
• For the first time in school history, four Eagles have recorded 50 or more receptions on the season – Andre Callender (59), Rich Gunnell (54), Brandon Robinson (50) and Ryan Purvis (50)).
• The Eagles are ranked 25th in the nation in total offense (440.5 ypg).

• Ryan recently became BC’s career leader in passing completions and single-season leader in yardage and touchdown passes.

• The Eagles are ranked second in the nation in rushing defense, allowing 65.6 yards rushing per game.
• The Eagles are ranked fourth in the nation in interceptions with 20.
• The Eagles are 10th in the nation in kickoff return yardage defense (18.42 yards per return).
• The team had six interceptions in one game alone (vs. Bowling Green) and free safety Jamie Silva tied a school record with three picks in that game.
• The defense held Clemson's high-powered offense, which had been averaging 164.5 yards on the ground, to 47 net rushing yards. Clemson had been averaging 442.2 yards of total offense; the Eagles held the

• Through 12 games, only two teams have rushed for more than 100 yards against the Eagles and only one individual back has rushed for more than 100 yards in a game.
• Held the ACC's leading rusher, Georgia Tech's Tashard Choice (who averages 117.6 ypg) to 31 yards.
• Held ACC's second-leading rusher, Clemson's James Davis (who averages 79.1 ypg.) to 10 yards.
• Eagles are second in the ACC in red zone defense (22-31, 71.0%).

Kind of Bummed on not going to the Motor City Bowl.. Local Game … Would have been a Great Winter Tailgate…
