Hot… 86 degrees, sunny... Plus on top of that…Muggy…Beautiful day for Football…Not the usual October day to sit in the stadium…

The Jello Shots, Jack and Cider, and 3 cases of beer were not enough to numb me to the disappointment of what was about to Happen on the Stadium Turf…. We had Brats, Pulled Pork, Shrimp Skewers, Pancakes, Bacon, sausage, Tacos, Pies.. Cakes, Bagels, Fresh Fruit.. Damn.. Full Frontal Gourmet assault on our Waistlines and taste Buds. Yummmmm...... too bad everyday’s not a Saturday tailgate…

We had Alumna Flying in for a Sparty Party.. LouAnne, Becky, and the entire Crew was there… Great day for Friends… Love to see everyone again !!! 

I was full of Sparty Hype… Hope for a Win and  Super hyped up for a Win after a Tough loss at Camp Randall last week........Now I am back to the reality of the situation… Sparta was not Built in a Day.. But Rather the team will be resurrected / ReBuilt over a period of time…

I am not sure what happened… I don’t believe the wheels came off the bus… .Only a flat tire…or 2…. I was right in my previous prediction, it was a scoring Fiesta.. but a scoring party for both teams…. Damn.. piss poor outcome…

I left the High Spartan Cathedral at the third quarter… I felt indifference on the field…Saw a flat team… A Frustration in “D”…I had to get out of there… Seen one too many collapse to sit through another today… I was afraid to see another… I was wrong to leave…. I was wrong Begin to question the system this soon…

Once back to my car… sitting under a tree listening to the remainder of the game (between Giltner and the Auditorium)… There started to flow a steady stream of listless, emotionless, mute Spartan Fans walking back to the respective tailgates. with the excitement of a Funeral march… Never have I seen anything like it… Droves of fans.. with the only sound the slapping of their flip flops on the pavement.. All eyes glazed… . No one could believe what we saw….

Was this a collapse like years past ???? Or was it that we were afraid of the ghosts of Bobby Williams and John L. haunting us from the concourses and the Red Zone…..

Neither… Shake it off Spartans..!!! Have a another shot of Ouzo…grab the Beer Bong… Pass the Jack.....Today the Team played a better opponent…PERIOD.. this is the Big Ten.. We’re going to win some, and loose some… But, lets win more than we loose, and get to the national Stage…  We will Move on...and not get discouraged and let the Bobby and John L. demons take the team...

No matter what the Detroit Free Press Shit Rag or other Maize focused papers have to say .. I think we still are on the right track… I still believe… And will continue to support. the new System and Coaches….

We had Huge Big time Offence Today.. But, The “D”  and especially the Secondary was giving up way too much. .. the “D’ was very Soft today... BUT.... This is a Different team than last year… and a better team… !!!!
