This was the First Tough opponent and First Big Ten opponent MSU faced under Dantonio.....The Spartans Continue to meet and exceed expectations... Saturday they didn't quit... the wheels didn't come off the bus.... Dantonio has brought a successful focus to the team... they will only improve.... Anyone displeased with the outcome needs to remember Rome or Sparta wasn't built in a day.... And go Root for scUM...
"D" ... Wow... Goal line Stance... When the Chips were down, the "Old" Spartans would have punted the ball and then ....GAME OVER... Not this team... They were in it all the way. No Let down in the forth... they were Stout all Day ! ....2 Interceptions.... Studs !!
"O".... Flashes of Brilliance. Front Line... Hoyer couldn't have made the 8.0 yards per pass, 323 total passing yards with out you guys... A Game with 1000 yrds of offense between the teams... Wow....
I am not sure who impressed me more "D" Front or "O" Front... These guys can play with anyone ! Any team in the NCAA.

I'm Drinking Green Kool-Ade..... Can you tell... But face it... This is not the team or yesterday... Last year... Last Decade.... These guys got HEART ! Focus.. Passion.. Pride... Purpose....
And what about the Clean hit.. ...The Clean Lick that Warrick laid on Jefferson. I thought the guy was dead... He spun around... His head looked like the Exorcist... Could have been very scary...Landed on his neck...We all were pleased when he got up, that looked like a Huge dangerous hit.. Glad to see the young man run back to the sidelines.
I was concerned when Rucker was ejected for trading punches with Randel El, The lad has to know when to back off... I am sure Coach MD will have a discussion with him...
