My Keys to the Game....



Its great to be in the midst of Football season again!  And the Spartans winning and scUM on the ropes… Can’t ask for anymore !  The Beer…Tailgate Comradery… The Stadium… but....
First and Foremost Our Beloved Spartans !!!




SpartyMSU has already predicted and reviewed the game. We stick with the initial July prediction of the outcome of:

Pitt Panthers  (2006 record: 6 - 6, 2-5 in Big East)

Last year was an unexpected surprise!  335 yds rushing, 198 receiving, 198 yds passing, and 583 all purpose yds... Not bad guys, held Pitt to 81 yds rushing, 277 receiving, 277 passing, kick returns (oopps...)185yds, and 549 all purpose yds. 

We had a weaker Team last year and Spanked them in their house…
Now they come to SPARTA…. !!

Important Note: Pitt Limps into East Lansing with a host of injuries. Good Article on the injuries to Pitt….

Wimpy Whiny Wannstedt has said: DT Gus Mustakas out due to Surgery, Limited action for Tailback LaRod Stephens-Howling due to Bruised Ribs, Tailback Kevin Collier out due to a broken wrist,  Wideout Derek Kinder to season-ending knee surgery, Offensive guard Chris Jacobson to knee surgery, Starting quarterback Bill Stull suffered a thumb injury that needed surgery… 

This will only play to the Spartans advantage if they can continue to improve this week.

KEYS:
1) Keep the Penalties Down !  Doing excellent so far this year.. Need to keep it up !

2) Continue to Pressure the new QB Kevan Smith. He hit the open receivers last week on some deep balls.. Dump Smith on his ass a few times.. that will loosen him up...

3) Keep the Sack Count up !  D: You’re a Bunch of Studs !!

4) The Defensive Ends are young for Pitt… Exploit that !

5) Hey Pitt..?  What you Gunna do… when Jehuu and Javon Run Wild on You ….!

6) Swenson… DNBTU Fella !  Your our Jeff Lerg !!

7) Never …Ever… Let the Wheels come off… Keep up the Composure / Focus / Purpose on the Field …  Dantonio... You've done a Great Job so Far.. Thank You!
