Notes from Gavin... Another Member of the SpartyMSU Brew Crew
September 1: A good time if you're an MSU fan. What a weekend! MSU 55 UAB 18; U-M 32 ASU 34. I have mixed emotions about this. For MSU and the rest of the Big Ten, we need U-M and all of the other schools to win the games they are supposed to. Obviously, we want to beat U-M and OSU and Notre Dame, for that matter. That's another story. Georgia Tech 33, Notre Dame 3. We need Notre Dame to be successful too.
With the ASU loss, now we need U-M to lose lots of games to show everyone that their # 5 ranking was nothing more than wishful thinking on the part of the pundits. The other Big Ten Schools must win the rest of their nonconference games and "show up" when they play each other. Too many years have come and gone where the Big Ten performs poorly in post-season bowl games. It's time for the brusing Big Ten to bully some of the premiere teams in the country.
