What can we say !!!   They deserve what they Got, and I wish they get more.

Facts:  They do have a history of Success, they are arrogant of their success, they do have a loyal following of non-Alumni Blue color tag-a-longs, they do have a strangle hold on the Detroit Media; especially the Hatter Rag Free Press.... They have looked down their collective snobby noses at little Bother Sparty for years... Nice to see the Wolver-weenies get their asses handed to them.. !! Note: MSU only got page 8 in the free press Sunday.. scUM got 6 full pages....  Yeah baby ....National Champ Hopes Up in Flames...!!  I don't get the Freep and never buy it.. look at my neighbors while on his boat....

This weekend, Bowling Green comes to town after a Huge upset over Minny in the Humpty-Dumpty Dome.... Earlier this summer we thought they might win, (http://blog.spartymsu.com/2007/07/17/spartymsu-crew-2007-spartan-preview-UAB--bg.aspx  )  and they did. (See predictions from The Brew Crew)... They are a better team then UAB (still Love the BBQ down the Hill form UAB at DreamLand   http://www.dreamlandbbq.com/  )

 

They can get it done.... This isn't a cake walk, but will be a good win for the Spartans, as we continue to play as ONE.... This will be another Solid Win for our Spartans...  BGSU and Sheehan have a quite and deflating ride back to the Buckeye State...  Prediction of at least 4 sacks... 3 picks... the total yardage for the Birds will be less than 100.

Dantonio's Comments Form Press Conf:
On The Game with BGSU: "Well, I know that we need to be balanced, and you need to do the things that allow you to win, just like Saturday. We had no turnovers and we protected the quarterback very well, and when those types of things happen and you don't have a lot of penalties where you don't have a lot of yardage situations, you're going to be successful. But certainly our MO is going to be to do both, so we've got to be able to run the football, as well."

" I would hope that just the win over Minnesota would open everybody's eyes, as well, and when they see the film they'll know why. There was precision passing and good protection, and they ran a hitch on defense. So it'll be a challenge, and things will get progressively more challenging as we go (through the schedule)."

Looking forward to a good Game.. .Definitely tougher than UAB...  But a Win for the Spartans on Saturday... !!!  Not much more to say till we play a tougher team next week like Pitt.....
