Spartys, aren't great this year, but they will be ok. Better than last year, more passion, but, not great. Hoyer has huge shoes to fill in replacing Stanton, but, that being said, its MSU vs UAB football.....Football ?  None us knew UAB had a football team. MSU and the Blazers were both league bottom dwellers last year, but, Spartans in the Big Ten are up the ladder a bit from UAB and C-USA.  This will be a Spartan victory....

Balzers have a new Coach, young inexperienced defensive line, and only 6 returning starters on the entire team... Ohhhh  Boy... Hate to be them.....

Spartans got them on size, speed, depth, talent, and should have them on Drive and Passion.  This one will be as easy as it gets for the Boys in Green all year. Stick a "W" in the stat column for the Dr.

None of us really knows where Bowling Green exactly is, South of Toledo somewhere. Andy's not sure theres much good in Ohio anywhere (Andy's clear reference to his hatred of the Buckeyes....).   But, We do like Packo's, http://www.tonypackos.com/  ...... other than that.... Hmmmm....Alfie lights up about Cedar Point and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.... Yeah....Sure.... but if that's all a State can muster, we'll stay in Michigan....

Bowling Green is coming into East Lansing fresh off a game at Minni...  But...Look out... They might just beat the Golden Squirrels in the Dome.... Maybe.... Just, Maybe... Coach Brewster, look out for the MAC... Spartans all Remember the CMU games of '80s...

Spartys will probably have a slow start, then put the petal to the metal in the 4th quarter against the Falcons. This is a tougher squad than UAB to be sure. This game is a much better test drive of Dantonio's resurrected Spartans.

Flacons did give Wisky a good game last year (even in a loss: 35-14), they do have several returning lettermen (25 Offence, 28 Defense). No question, They are a better team than UAB. But, BG QB is MIA, not determined, TBD, Fish or Cut Bait....., Whos' on First....Maybe by the Minni Game they will have tagged one to start. They were inconsistent to bad last year at QB, chances are they still havn't figure it out under center. They are short (5'11")  in the backfield (like UAB, but much faster). The Falcon's Linemen, Both sides, Defense and "O" should give the Dr.'s Lines a better test for 60 minutes.

Another round of Jaeger arrives, the beer goggles are starting to thicken, but we all agree this will be a win, but not an easy win, and should be a nice tough ramp up game. Hopefully no Injuries yet..

Dr. gets a "W". The Spartans are 2 - 0 after September 8th.
