Whats floating by….  Sept. 15 Sunny Late Summer day, Not one Spartan line man on either side of the ball, is gasping for endurance in the forth quarter… Putting the pedal to the metal and not letting up on the gas, Hoyer drives the Spartan “O” 67 yrds in 4 plays, finishing in a 23 yrd run by Caulcrick doing a “Peko” and leaping over the final defender for 6 points…. This is a win for the Green ! Bury  Pittsburg…. 42 - 21

Ohhhh something else is floating by ..Its October 13, the “D’ has already scored 76 points on interceptions, fumble recoveries this year… “D” continues to roll in this game…, Hoyer is now sharing time with Dixon, Dixon is growing in confidence. The Dr. can’t be happier to have Hoyer #1, and #2 Dixon Ready to go any time as the best back up we have had in Many Many years.  Spartys WIN Again, Sending the Hoosiers back home 53 – 32…

The Stadium is Electric, A Close game…., The “D’ does not let up, they have the endurance, will, fight, hunger….  Its getting fuzzy now….. I do see  Todd Boleski  kicking FG after FG stacking up the 3 pointers along with Caulcrick’s crushing runs for a game total of 178 yrds…The Dr. is Jubilant in the end… No one leaves the stadium… Standing ovation for the Boys in Green… MSU 37  - scUM 31…

It’s a good year for the Spartans…. The River has now gone cloudy… Ehausted, The Great Opietini must now retire to “the Barrel” for a spot of Tequila and an Oberon…..  more Prognostications later next Month…..
