Sparty On in ‘Vegas… Viva La Sparty… !!!

Boy put your money where you mouth is…. I’m not a gambling guy, and hav’t been to Vegas before, but, This week I flew to Vegas to lay odds on Our Resurrected Spartans. Odds are 400 /1 that they will win the BCS, Yeah, some say a fools errand, Money and a Fool are soon parted, but I believe, and want to tangibly see if my faith is rewarded. scUm was 11/2…

Bleery eyed, been awake for 29 hours, snaking my way again through the over whelming din of “Elvis” one armed Bandits, smelling of yesterday’s Jack Daniels and 7 (only due to the adrenaline rush of winning at Nickel slots and $5 Black Jack),  I found the sports Book.  I’m in, Bets made… Dr. I have the Faith, and if not this year… Next…. Or the Next…You’ve heard  “Faith of a Mustard Seed” … Well I have the Faith of a Spartan…...

With the Toughest schedule in the Big Eleven, (scUM comes in second), a Game against the Catholics underneath Touch Down Jesus, At Whisky, at the Horse Shoe, scUM Nov. 3... The Odds are long, but, if the Spartan Nation doesn’t Belive who then…., If I can’t believe in the Dr. and the boys, who will ???
