The Gospel according the Mark....

While listening to the Sports Inferno (http://www.sportsinferno.com) on my way home, I heard an interview with the "Dr." (Mark Dantonio) that gave me more reasons to have belief in the resurrection of Spartan Football.  Its good to have him spread the Spartan Gospel on the air waves.. Send out the good news to the Faithful!!!

He Stated that he does have the talent to make it to a Bowl game. Except that "Depth is an issue", but noted that  they have the ability and demeanor to get it done. They are focusing on the basics, blocking and tackling in practices, energy, focus, and attitude... More good news... I accept incremental improvements Dr.....

With what I have been hearing and reading about practices, there is no reason they should continue to loose games in the forth quarter anymore... scUM, Buckeyes, Whiskey, Golden Domers.. We lost so many key games when the team looked like they ran out of stamina... Ran out of gas... lost the keys to the car... Fell flat... choked...

He admitted he may not have all the horses needed in the stable yet, but that they do have determination, heart, and passion to get er'done. I trust him on this...  And I hope "ES" (http://www.enlightenedspartan.com) and the rest of the Spartan Nation feels as Strong too....

He does plan to start Hoyer as this years QB, good news, at least for this year.....

But, He also says that they need to stay healthily since they aren't so deep in many positions.

He also reminded everyone that scUM is the 10th game of the year, out of 12 games, so it's a good motivational tool to look forward to that game.. And since he was involved in the rivalry for 6 years as a SPARTAN before.
